Soso Soberekon, a music executive, has sued singer Harrysong for libel over claims that the talent manager recruited assassins to kill him.

Harrysong made the claim on the “Frankly Speaking” podcast, which is co-hosted by comedian Nedu Wazobia.

Most friendships in the industry, the Reggae Blues singer observed, were for selfish reasons.

According to Harrysong, contrary to popular opinion, Soso Soberekon was not a friend but an opponent, accusing him of sending guys to come and assassinate him in Port Harcourt.

In response to the claim, Soberekon demanded that Harrysong retract the comments and apologize.

In a suit filed by his legal representation, the talent manager also sought N500 million in damages for the harm done to his reputation by the malicious publication.

WHITE LION on Instagram: “As a matter of fact, I always mind my business, stay on my lane and put smile on people’s faces. It is very disappointing that Harrysong will make such a false, reckless and defamatory statement. Please to my supporters, remain calm, this will be addressed and will be handled properly and legally. Thanks”
