A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) political support organization has encouraged the party’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, to reconsider the makeup of the Presidential Campaign Council.
The organization argued that this was vital to prevent the error committed in 2019 when Chief Gbenga Daniel, Director-General of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation, switched to another party.
In a letter to Abubakar, the group demanded that he appoint Chief Raymond Dokpesi as Director-General of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation (APCO) 2023.
Pa Lawrence Okojie, the National Coordinator, and Mr A.K Peters, the National Secretary, signed the letter.
It claimed in the letter that it was drawn to the list of newly appointed directors in the National Campaign Management Office.
