The Super Eagles will participate in a four-nation tournament in London, England, as part of their preparations for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The competition, scheduled for June 2025, will also feature the Black Stars of Ghana and the Reggae Boyz of Jamaica.

Reports indicate that the Nigerian squad will travel to England after playing their first-ever friendly against Russia in Moscow on June 6, 2025.

These friendlies are designed to sharpen the team ahead of their crucial World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and South Africa in September.

Nigeria faces a tough road to qualification, having secured just seven points from six matches in Group C.

Currently in fourth place, Eric Chelle’s side must secure vital victories in their remaining fixtures to keep their hopes alive for a spot in the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
