Nicki Minaj, an American rapper, has resorted to social media to voice her displeasure with the Grammys’ decision to exclude her Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 song ‘Super Freaky Girl’ from the rap category.
The organization said that Nicki Minaj’s latest single, “Super Freaky Girl,” did not fit the criteria for inclusion as a rap song at the annual awards show. As a result, rather of being classified as “rap,” the song will be classified as “pop.”
In response to the decision, Nicki posted to Twitter and Instagram on Thursday, saying she had “no problem” with being demoted from the rap category as long as “we are all treated equitably.”
