The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), has criticized the All Progressives Congress-led administration in Ebonyi State for alleged attacks, intimidation, murders, and subjective arrest and incarceration of political opponents.
MASSOB cautioned Governor David Umahi in a statement published on Tuesday following a national executive meeting signed by its Leader, Comrade Uchenna Madu, that such attacks and sponsored killings by his administration were a recipe for chaos with unforeseen consequences.
The group expressed concern about what it called the Ebonyi State Government’s irresponsible activities while Governor Umahi was in office, reminding him that he had less than eight months left in office and that instead of creating enmity and perpetual crisis, he should use his remaining days in office to reconcile those he had offended.
