According to reports, Kano Pillars are making moves to lure coach Stanley Eguma away from Enyimba, as uncertainty lingers over his future with the Aba-based club.
Eguma joined the nine-time Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions midway through last season, following the dismissal of Yemi Olanrewaju. Since then, the former Rivers United boss has been engaged in contract renewal discussions with the People’s Elephants.
Despite those ongoing negotiations, Kano Pillars are reportedly keen on securing Eguma’s services as they continue their search for a new head coach after Usman Abdallah stepped down last month.
In addition to Pillars, Plateau United are also monitoring Eguma’s situation, with the experienced tactician now attracting interest from multiple NPFL sides.
