A 30-year-old woman named Mercy Nyong has been detained by agents of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for attempting to export tramadol to Dubai.
According to a statement made on Sunday, October 16, by the agency’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, the suspect, who is a 200-level mass communication student at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), was allegedly caught trying to export 300 grams of tramadol 225 mg hidden in incense products to Dubai, UAE, on Wednesday, October 12, at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Ikeja, Lagos.
