Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate and former Vice President, has stated that he understands Nigeria’s difficulties and has accumulated enough expertise to handle them.
He maintained that without unity and national security, achieving economic success in Nigeria will remain a fantasy.
If elected, Wazirin Adamawa promised to rebuild Nigeria, construct a dynamic economy for prosperity, restore Nigeria’s unity, and improve the security system.
He stated that Nigeria’s unity has never been more threatened, with an increasing number of Nigerian citizens openly questioning their allegiance to the country’s corporate existence through violent agitations and misguided demands for ethno-regional autonomy as a result of widespread feelings of marginalization and neglect.
As a result, he requested that he be given the opportunity to apply his wealth of knowledge and establish excellent government for Nigeria.
He spoke on Saturday in Kaduna at an interactive session organized by the Arewa Joint Committee, which includes the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation (SABMF), Jamiyyar Matan Arewa (JMA), Arewa House (Center for Historical Development and Research), and the Arewa Research and Documentation Project (ARDP).
