A lecturer at the University of Ibadan (UI) simply identified as “Professor Wood”, in a viral video making the rounds on tweeter is seen manhandling a female student in the University, as he beckons on security to apprehend the student for using a skateboard within the school premises.
In the video the student is seen trying to persuade the lecturer to let her go even as he tries to confiscate her skateboard while still holding her by her jacket.
The video shared by tweeter user @naija_pr has since been generating reactions as many tweeter users have called out the lecture for what has been largely described as physical assault. Some others have called out the management of University of Ibadan to do something about lecturer-student intimation.
